Favorites: Weight Loss Division

Did you know that of those who lose weight successfully, EIGHTY percent use a food journal. Here’s the problem:  food journals are TORTURE. Food journals are the GESTAPO! Food journals KILL HAPPINESS!

Now that I got that out of the way, let me say: the only thing that has ever worked for me in achieving permanent weight loss is a food journal. But…I found a GREAT one! A happy one! An EASY one!   It’s the Hummer of all online food journals (and I’ve looked into a lot of them!)


It really is quite intuitive and has a HUGE data base of foods – including franchise restaurants.  So, the other day when I splurged in the afternoon on a Iced Vanilla Coffee at Starbucks, I was able to know immediately how many calories it cost me and how I could cut back in other areas.  It gives you a detailed report at the end of the day and has countless graphs and reports so you can easily track your progress.  It’s very much like having a friend along with you on the journey – a very smart, very organized friend.

    I am using it and love it, except that tonight I have some leftover calories and I feel this need to use them up….I wish they were like rollover minutes and I could save them for tomorrow.
